Urban Lines | Fish Where You Are | Fly Fishing Film Tour

For new social media followers and for those who have not seen the trailer yet, here it is.

I have to thank Nick and Kami Swingle (Wideangle Fishing & TwoFisted Heart Productions) and Jereme Thaxton (Freestone Entertainment). I worked with the film crew throughout the summer and into the fall. We shot on my boat, shot on land, and shot wading. It was loads of fun and I hope there is going to be a sequel.

If there is one thing I learned from all of this, FISH DO NOT LIKE CAMERAS.

This is the teaser for the Fly Fishing Film Tour. I can't wait to see the full length feature.

Here is the synopsis of the movie:

"TwoFisted Heart Productions and Freestone Entertainment have partnered to create a film on the tidal Potomac River that counters common stigmas and stereotypes of fly fishing. Four fly fishermen in Washington, D.C. demonstrate that fly fishing is more than an individual pursuit of the catch, more than once-a-year out West or once-in-a-lifetime trips to exotic locations abroad. In an unlikely setting of concrete vistas, population density and traffic nightmares, the Potomac River proves that adventure and epic fishing are available to everyone on a daily basis. D.C. fly fishermen have embraced that concept through an online community that provides a 21st century, Web 2.0 take on passionately protecting our water resources for the future and connecting with the people around us. It’s about thinking globally and fishing locally."
