Fly Fishing Washington D.C. | Client Photos - 2010 Year In Review

I ended my job as a federal consultant in June of this year to pursue fly fishing as a career. The smiles below justify my career change.

Here is a gallery of images from taking clients out in 2010. Please take into consideration that most if not all of the people in the pictures below had never picked up a fly rod before going out. They learned the basic casts, knots, bugs, fish, and a whole lot more. They were able to successfully apply it to their fly fishing. They caught largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, catfish, sunfish, striped bass, spotted bass, needlefish, and perch. This was one of the hottest summers on record and no one complained about the heat while fishing !

I caught the big crappies, figure I'd throw those images in too. Don't forget to check out the anchor a kid pulled out of the Potomac.

All fish below were caught withing 10 miles of the White House.

I am looking forward to teaching many more people how to fly fish in 2011.
