Buffalo Wing Dip Recipe | Deconstructed

Figure I'd post the recipe here and let everyone at today's holiday party come here rather than me writing it out.
This is fairly simple and if done correctly will be a hit.

1 Party Serving (double ingredients to double the size)

  • 2 packs cream cheese
  • 1 bottle buffalo wing sauce
  • handful of blue cheese
  • 1 chicken breast (or thigh and leg meat which actually has flavor)
  1. Poach chicken breast. We do this while making stock to flavor the chicken. If not making stock, use some bouillon packets to flavor the water.  Poach for 10 minutes and set aside to cool.
  2. Place cream cheese and crumbled blue cheese in large bowl and mix with one of those beater things. This will break it all up and put some air into it.
  3. Pour wing sauce into cheese mixture and whip into an orange pile of cheese heaven.
  4. Dice chicken breast and mix into cheese mixture.
  5. Place concoction in crock pot and heat for at least 2 hours on high to make all the cheese melt.
  6. Serve with Frito scoops or other dippable item.
  7. Send friends to this blog to get the recipe for themselves.
